IRIS IS SEARCHING FOR HER FOREVER HOME
Little Iris is a little shy at first but when she gets to know you better she is very affectionate. She loves a cuddle and since she has been at Akira her confidence with new people has grown everyday and it is quicker and quicker for her to warm to new people. Iris is only a small dog between 10 to 12kg so would fit in any household.
She is a sweet girl who loves to play with other dogs. There hasnt been any dog who hasnt loved little Iris. She is currently playmates with Vince and Mancha but she has had many different playmates of all sizes. Any outside ares would be need to be secure.
She is good with children once she gets to know them. She does however, need a house without cats as during her time away from the shelter it was noted she was not a fan of them.
She walks well on the leash and she is clean in her kennel. She has been sterlised and is fully vaccinated and ready to go to her new home. Iris has a passport so she is able to travel however after being in the shelter for a long time she now finds leaving a scary experience so she needs a local adopter or someone who is able to come and build up a relationship and then can travel together with Iris to her new home. We are sorry if this is disappointing but it is in the best interests of Iris.
