COCO NEEDS A FOREVER HOME
Coco recently went on a home trial, and the family gave him a lot of time and taught him many new things, such as leaving it and going to his place, but Coco struggled to live with a young child and a rabbit, so he has now returned to the shelter. Prior to his home trial, he had been living in an apartment. Still, unfortunately, his elderly owner wasn’t able to look after him as she was medically unwell and was really struggling with daily life. It meant he didn’t have a lot of experience with little kids or rabbits. He did really bond with the adult adopters and was hugely excited about his walks; he enjoyed playing in the dog park and investigating all the scents on his walks. We learnt a lot from it. His home trial and so are better able to ensure it is his forever home next time. It is the reason we offer such trials to make sure.
Coco is 9 years old. He is around 17kg. Coco is great with people but needs kids-free or much older children. He is good with other dogs but isn’t keen on cats or rabbits. He would be a great addition as he is used to being in a home; he is clean in the house.
Coco is castrated and fully vaccinated. He has a passport and a microchip, enabling him to travel to the right home if needed. Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us for more info at akirashelter@aol.com or WhatsApp at +34657689567.
You are also warmly invited to the Benissa shelter to meet him. We are open every day without an appointment between 8.30-16.00. You can take a walk with Coco or sit in our meet-and-greet area to get to know him.
